This extremely hot pepper was bred by a farmer named Jay in Eastern Pennsylvania. A cross between a Ghost Pepper (Bhut Jolokia) and a Trinidad Scorpion, it has blends lighter shades of red and a pink Scorpion to give it the it's unique peach color. The flavor is floral but slightly sweet, but don't be fooled, it's extremely hot. Use caution when handling!
The Mad Dog 357 Ghost Peach peppers are grown in Massachusetts. The dried pods, which come in a resealable pouch, can be reconstituted or ground to use in your own hot sauces or super spicy dishes.
