Palo Alto Fire Fighters Habanero hot sauce was created by Lee Taylor, a real life firefighter who has been growing peppers at the fire station since 1994. His sauces quickly became a hit with fellow firefighters, and now with fans across the country.
The habanero sauce is similar to the original jalapeño sauce, but notches up the heat with the addition of habaneros. The sauce uses ripe red jalapeños, habaneros, tangy vinegar, and a blend of paprika and spices. This medium heat hot sauce is perfect as an everyday table sauce, adding a burst of flavor to chicken, pizza, tacos, and more.
Palo Alto Fire Fighters donate all proceeds from their sauces to charity.
